Police front counter closures WILL affect Harefield residents

Harefield will join nine other communities in London which will be more than an hour away from the nearest police station in radical cuts announced by London Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Speaking this morning, the Mayor has said he has been left with no choice but to shut more than half of the remaining police front counters due to cuts in police funding.

He added that other local communities including Pinner and Ruislip are still under consideration for closure.

The infamous Paddington Green station will also close but will be replaced by a station in nearby Church Street.
